Julie Pearl is a national mindfulness life coach who enjoys helping people reduce stress and create balance between work, family, and personal life.
Julie was originally a software developer in the telecom Industry before becoming a mother of three, (all teenagers now), then a stay at home mom. She continued to stay at home raising her kids to find ways to help her daughter with her anxiety and sensory sensitivity. After attending a stress reduction workshop discussing mindfulness and it’s benefits to reduce stress, anxiety, depression and to enhance well-being she was compelled to learn more and soon became a student, practitioner and certified mindfulness teacher for both youth and adults.
Julie founded Getting Mindful LLC in 2014 and completed her Life coaching Professional Coaching Certification (CVPCC), bringing together benefits of mindfulness and coaching techniques to:
She has been educating youth in different capacities in Fairfax County Schools (FCPS) for the past 13 years and creates mindfulness workshops for the past five for all age groups. She has given talks about mindfulness at schools, companies and high end living communities in D.C, and Virginia.
Getting Mindful Mission:
To create public awareness that living life in the present, in the here and now, is key to reduce stress, increase moments of peace, and experience life more fully. Coaching people to live with an intentional attention to one’s self, others, and the environment achieves this, and is the mission of Getting Mindful.
